V.O. Remarketing Policies and Procedures:
Please read carefully to understand the VO Recovery & Remarket Corporation (VO) requirements.
INVENTORY
Assets are acquired on behalf of our clients
Assets are brought into inventory on behalf of our clients (Leasing Companies, Banks, and Bankruptcy Courts). VO occasionally will buy inventory on a case by case situation which must always be approved through management first. An FMV (Fair Market Value/Asking Price) for the asset is established with our client. Assets are marketed at the FMV (subject to change without notice); all offers including offers at the asking price are subject to the approval and acceptance by our client. We make every effort possible to determine condition and operability of an asset (see the Terms & Conditions of sale below). VO will disclose any and all known facts related to an asset. VO also lists equipment on EBay.
SALES POLICY
• No sale is final until funds are received in full by VO. Verbal commitments of sales are honored at VO's discretion. All sales are on a cash basis, cashier's checks, credit card or bank wire transfers. All sales must be paid for in full within (7) days of approved purchase, unless our arrangements have been made and approved by management.
• All offers are subject to review and acceptance by our client. All offers should be submitted in writing clearly stating item, amount, and buyer information.
• Items may be placed on hold in a "sale pending," status, provided a non-refundable deposit of no less than 20% is received. Items will be placed on hold for a (7) day length of time.
• Acceptable form of payments are: Cash, Cashier’s Check, Bank Wire, Pay Pal, Credit Card (all Credit Card and PayPal payments are subject to a convenience charge)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – ALL SALES ARE FINAL
All equipment is sold as is, where is, with no warranties implied or given. VO makes no express warranty of any kind and disclaims all implied warranties to include warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Further, no commitment is made by VO as to the functionality or condition of any item. The buyer is responsible for the shipping, packaging and/or storage of the purchased equipment. All purchased equipment must be removed from VO’s facilities or its location within 10 business days or be subject to storage fees. Storage fees will accrue at $5.00 per day per pallet (48x48) of equipment. VO accepts no responsibility for damage or loss (be it physical, monetary, or intangible in nature) sustained by any of the parties involved either directly or indirectly as a result of the shipping of equipment. The buyer assumes all responsibility for the purchased equipment to include any damage and/or loss that may occur after the execution of the sale.
SHIPPING
Purchased items are packaged and shipped at buyer's expense. VO does provide packaging services (packaging will not be done until equipment has been paid for in full). VO is not a shipping company, agent or broker of shipping. Details and requirements regarding the shipment of purchased equipment on behalf of the buyer by VO should be discussed at the time of sale with the remarketing representative handling the transaction. Equipment can be scheduled for pick up, with no earlier than a 2 week notice.
